Waterford Project Update: From Primer to Progress
We’re excited to share the latest developments from our ongoing Waterford project! As we continue transforming this space, each step brings us closer to the finished product, and this week was all about prep, precision, and progress.
We began by applying a full coat of primer to both surfaces. This essential step helps seal the drywall, creates a uniform surface, and ensures better adhesion for the paint to come. Taking time with proper prep work like this lays the groundwork for a professional, long-lasting finish.
Once the primer was dry and ready, we moved forward with two coats of paint on the ceilings. Using a high-quality ceiling paint, we achieved a bright, clean look that not only improves the visual height of the space but also adds a fresh, polished feel.
The walls received their first coat of paint as well, already giving the room character and warmth. The color chosen complements the design plans and is beginning to tie the overall aesthetic together. With just one coat so far, the transformation is already noticeable we can’t wait to see the full effect once the final coat is applied.
In addition to the painting, we also began moving forward on some of the bathroom installation tasks. This included collecting and staging materials needed for the upcoming phase, staying organized ensures efficiency as we move forward.
One of the key milestones was setting the shower pan, a foundational piece of the shower that ensures proper drainage and support. Getting this part installed and leveled correctly is critical for the longevity of the space, and our team handled it with precision.
We also cut and prepped the sills, setting the stage for future trim and detail work. These custom cuts help ensure a seamless fit and contribute to the polished, built-in look our clients love.
With the walls and ceilings coming together and bathroom installation underway, we’re entering an exciting phase of this project. Each step is another piece of the puzzle, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch it all take shape.
