Waterford Project Update: Trim Prep and Fine-Tuning Baseboards

As the Waterford project progresses into the final stages, attention to detail continues to drive every step forward. This phase of work focused on prepping and installing trim, bringing structure, definition, and a polished look to the interior.

We began by installing trim on the bathroom closet opening, giving the space a clean, framed finish that ties in seamlessly with the rest of the home’s aesthetic. Well-installed casing like this helps visually anchor the doorway while enhancing overall cohesion.

Next, we rough-cut all baseboard trim throughout the interior, preparing each section for its designated space. This process involves precise measurements and careful planning to ensure that every piece of trim fits exactly where it belongs. Once cut, we shifted our attention to fine-tuning each baseboard section for the bedroom, bedroom closet, hallway, and entry closet.

This fine-tuning is essential it allows for clean corners, tight seams, and a flawless finish once the trim is secured in place. It’s this kind of precision work that sets a project apart, ensuring not just function but craftsmanship.

With the trim prepped and aligned, we’re one step closer to the Waterford home’s full transformation. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build out the beauty in every corner.
